Have you ever tried to check pages that should supposedly contain backlinks to your site – which of these pages really do contain backlinks?

Imagine you have a long list of URLs of pages – from press release or article directories, forum profiles – whatever, and want to index them with a help of twindeXator. How Backlinks Checker Works?

Backlinks Checker checks pages in two modes:

1. By domain
2. By keywords

Checking Backlinks By Domain

This is a common case.
You promote your site buyviagrabitch.com in article directories, forum profiles – you name it. You promote different pages of the site, but all of them contain this domain line – buyviagrabitch.com. Backlinks Checker checks all the pages in the list on occurrence of buyviagrabitch.com within href tag. If the page contains buyviagrabitch.com as a plane text, not within href tag, which means there is no actual link, Backlinks Checker won’t set a match.

Checking Backlinks By Keywords

Searching by domain is great, but what if you took a list of pages linking on your site – and promote them with 2nd tier links? You get a report with 2nd tier pages, but you have no idea on which 1st tier page each of them links.

But what you know – is titles and anchors which were used in this 2nd tier linking.

Let’s say you ordered links with the following anchors:

What you should do – is simple compile a list of all words used in these lines:

You don’t want to include common words like buy, get, your in this list, because they can occur on a page as an anchor of some sudden link, not yours.

Now, what Backlinks Checker does? It checks if ANY of these keywords occurs on a page within an anchor, between <a href=”…”> and </a> tags.

How To Work With Backlinks Checker

1. Go to http://backlinkschecker.twindexator.com/

2. Name your task.

3. Insert a list of pages to be checked – in a field or from a file, this option helps if your list consists of thousands of lines: if you insert them by copypaste your browser can freeze.

4. Insert your domains or keywords list – you should know what kind of list you have. If you don’t know, you can search both by domains and keywords.

Now, if the line contains dot, Backlinks Checker will search it within href tag.
If the line doesn’t contain dot, Backlinks Checker will search it within an anchor, between <a href=”…”> and </a> tags.

How cool is that, huh?

5. Click Submit.

6. The list might be processed certain time, up to several minutes if it contains thousands of links.

When it’s done, you see your task appeared in the list:

Now, every minute the percentage counter will be updated. Just click on the percents (or refresh the page with F5) every several minutes, and you will see the process going.

Then, finally you hit 100%.

This means your task is done!

We see that from 655 original pages, only 295 contain links on your site (or on 2nd tier pages). It may shock you but actually it’s a pretty good result.

7. Now import the resulting list by saving the text file to your computer, just right click on the task name:

8. Now you got a list of URLs of pages/articles/profiles that contain backlinks on your sites. Good job!

You can now insert this list to twindeXator and get each of these pages to the SE index.
